As we already know, delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is an inflammatory process, but where does it come from? And why sometimes you have it and sometimes not?

How to avoid DOMS?

The cause of the inflammation is micro trauma of muscle fibers. They are traumatized because of different lengths: short ones are torn during workout. If bodybuilder trains regularly and intensively, he doesn’t have fibers of different length or only a small quantity; as a result – no sore muscles! To achieve this you need to train at least 3 times a week. On this basis, training 2 times a week can not be used for gaining muscles.

Train wisely and it will not be painful, the muscles will grow.
